Step 4:
Taking the Course and Studying
Once you are signed up, please tell your EMS club that you will be taking the training course. This will help us keep track of the amount of potential EMT's we have in Bergen County. When you do begin the course, it will be very time-consuming. Both the content and the rigor of the class may be stressful, so we definitely recommend forming study groups with friends that you know in your EMS Club or other schools. This will not only help you through the course, but it will form many new bonds of friendship.
Important: The EMS Training Center also offers tutoring from a few instructors outside of class. These tutoring sessions are all through zoom due to CoVid. If you find yourself struggling, attending these sessions are incredibly helpful. Click the link on the right to learn more.
